Internet workshop for newbies
(New Straits Times Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) THE Internet is an information superhighway. It is also a good way to make money, via selling information online. With a billion people surfing the Internet these days, it has now become a new frontier for business and marketing opportunities.
Many people are jumping on the Internet bandwagon to sell their knowledge, skills, and products. Even laymen are cashing in on the phenomenon. Examples of successful case studies include a 25-year-old man who teaches people how to play the piano - making thousands of dollars every month - and an 80-year-old man who makes a fortune by teaching people the art of wire bending. "Making money online can be simple or complex. It is easy if you know how to do it, and complex if you don't," said Asia Internet Academy CEO Fabian Lim.
If you want to experience time and financial freedom in an online business, you can attend a free introduction of the Asia Internet Academy Workshop at Dorsett Regency Hotel, Kuala Lumpur tomorrow.
It is a step-by-step, "take-you-by-the-hand" system that provides participants with an Internet roadmap and critical skills and strategies to succeed online.
"Our comprehensive two day 'live' Internet marketing boot camp is a hands-on Internet marketing programme designed to transform you from a complete internet 'newbie' to an Internet entrepreneur," said Lim. The workshop is conducted "live" so you will have a chance to get all your questions answered and benefit from real-world Internet marketing experiences. It will start by understanding consumer behaviour as "you are the best judge of what you find interesting to buy online." "We will teach you how to create the right marketing mindset and deliver more than your competitors. Learning to make money online is not difficult, if you know exactly what you need to do," said Lim.
The workshop will provide information on how to create a website; drive free targeted traffic to your website via Search Engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN; start and manage a pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaign; get your prospects to opt-in to receive your newsletter or special offer; avoid being accused of spam and what you need to do if you're accused of it as well as how to locate and research your target market to find out if there is a demand for your product or service.
Others include how to perform proper keyword research; write irresistible sales letters; locate potential joint venture partners; effectively use autoresponder systems to put your online business on "auto-pilot" as well as select and set-up a website analysis system to track and test all your online efforts so you don't waste time and money on ineffective campaigns.
There are two sessions. Session One is from 2 to 4.30pm and Session Two is from 7.30 to 10pm. To reserve your seats, call 03-7880-0500. Also checkout www.internetmarketing.com.sg.
