[November 24, 2006] Claranet nears completion of £2.3 million Gigabit network Tweet The ISP will implement the final router in its network upgrade by the beginning of next week. Claranet has embarked on the final phase of a £2.3 million network upgrade that makes use of the latest Gigabit switch router (GSR) technology and will help businesses meet both current and future data requirements. The internet service provider has already deployed seven routers, based on the Cisco XR Series, and plans to make the final router live in its London Docklands data centre by Monday next week.
