eBay clear-out spells Big Bother for Mikey

(Liverpool Echo Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) COULD it be that the lucrative offers haven't been flooding in for Scouse Big Brother housemate Mikey Dalton since the C4 show ended?

Either that, or Vernon Kay look-a-like Mikey must be trying desperately to get together some cash for his impending nuptials to fellow evictee Grace.

Insider only asks because it looks like the Aigburth lad is having an almighty BB clear-out, flogging his memorabilia to the highest bidder on auction website eBay.

Already the suitcase in which he carried all his worldly goods into the infamous house has gone under the virtual hammer. After two bids, it sold for pounds 101 (plus pounds 29.99 p&p).

The lucky winner was obviously wowed by Mikey's online sales patter, which promised: "It is perfect for fans or collectors and can be signed personally to you by Mikey. The case is the one used by Mikey in the Big Brother house and the house next door."



He goes on to welcome queries from would-be buyers, but - evidently wise to the ways of probing tabloid hacks - stresses: "Please only ask questions about the case."

His suitcase tag has been snapped up too, for a more modest pounds 10.51, although that did attract a healthy 12 bids. Fans who would still like to get a piece of unique Mikey-abilia should not despair, though. Insider is pleased to report that there are still two items awaiting a new home.



Mikey also advertises his Big Brother University "scalf" (sic), worn during the University task.

This enticing item is still available for under a tenner with only a day left to make an offer, while the wrist band he wore to the BB wrap party is available for the bargain price of pounds 2.24.
