OPALIS EXTENDS INTEGRATION TO MICROSOFT SYSTEM CENTER OPERATIONS MANAGER 2007
New Integration Extends Opalis� Existing Product Support for Microsoft (News - Alert)�s Management Platform, Allows IT Departments to Automate Best Practices and Improve IT Efficiency
Barcelona, Spain � Microsoft IT Forum 2006 � November 13, 2006 � Opalis Software, Inc., the leading provider of Run Book Automation (RBA) software that orchestrates, integrates, and automates IT operational processes, today announced its support for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 (SCOM 2007) and development of Opalis Integration Pack for SCOM 2007.
The new integration extends Opalis� existing product support for SMS, MOM, Virtual Server, and Active Directory and allows for IT Operations to integrate Microsoft products with management tools from BMC, CA, EMC, HP, IBM (News - Alert), and VMware, to automate best practices and improve IT efficiency. The SCOM 2007 integration pack provides IT professionals with the ability to automate incident and problem diagnostic and remediation processes and direct critical alerts to the service desk. The new integration pack will ship during the first quarter of 2007.
