ViVOtech Launches Compact, Cost-Efficient ViVOpay 4500 Contactless EMV Readers for Europe, Middle East, Asia, Canada, and Latin America
SANTA CLARA, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- ViVOtech Inc., the leading supplier of contactless payment solutions, today announced the launch of the ViVOpay 4500 EMV contactless reader for the European, Middle Eastern, Asian, Canadian, and Latin American markets. Built on ViVOtech's best-selling ViVOpay 4000 contactless reader platform, the EMV-compatible ViVOpay 4500 is a cost-effective device with a small footprint, powerful new processing capabilities, and the ability to contactless-enable legacy POS systems without replacing the entire terminal or ECR infrastructure.
The ViVOpay 4500 features ARM processor-based hardware with large application memory to support multiple branded EMV and magnetic stripe contactless applications in addition to retailer loyalty, prepaid and NFC mobile phone payment programs. The high-performance processor also assures exceptional read range and faster card reads.
