Genex and Comcast Harness User Created Content with Ziddio.com Launch

LOS ANGELES --(Business Wire)-- This week, Comcast, in partnership with Genex, celebrated the launch of ziddio.com. Ziddio is Comcast's innovative take on user created content, offering users the chance to win high-profile prizes and national distribution of their original content on Comcast's new corresponding on-demand cable channel of the same name.

Along with eight different categories of content open for submission, current users have the chance to submit video of their messy home in conjunction with a contest sponsored by The Style Network's Clean House, to win a chance to have their home featured on the show. A new Star Wars-themed contest allows users to submit videos that correspond to classic trivia about the film for a chance to win an all expense paid trip to the Kennedy Space Center.

The Genex-designed and engineered site encourages visitors to create, view, and share independently produced, original video content driven by cross promotions with unique, well-known brands. Ziddio has strategic partnerships with several major networks including: HBO, Cinemax, The Style Network, and Lucas Films.
