Kupe Muanenguba Fetes Ngolle Ngolle

Chief Bernard Ebong, told The Post of how the entire population rose like one man to thank President Paul Biya for what they referred to as a wonderful gift to Kupe Muanenguba Division. To them, the appointment was a promotion.

Epie Damco, Vice President of the Kupe Muanenguba Development and Cultural Association, said it was the first time in a long while that a son of the Division was being appointed full-fledged Minister. He was equally happy President Biya appointed the right person.



The Kupe Muanenguba 111 CPDM Section President and Mayor of Tombel Ntoko Mekole Epie, told The Post that CPDM militants and the Tombel population, was overwhelmed. The Section President referred to Ngolle Ngolle as a very committed and dynamic militant of the CPDM.

"This appointment demonstrates the love President Biya has for Kupe Muanenguba Division," the CPDM Section President stated. Dr. Ntoko said the cabinet shake up was announced when the security meeting for Kupe Muanenguba Division was holding in Tombel, presided at by the SDO.


Thus all the administrative, traditional, political, municipal and security authorities of the Division were in Tombel. Dr Ntoko said it was thus as opportunity for these authorities, to spontaneously celebrate together.

Fruit Of Hard Work, Patriotism

Kupe Muanenguba elites attribute Prof. Ngolle Ngolle's appointment to hard work, patriotism, honesty, patience and humility. The appointment, they noted, was also due to faithfulness of Kupe Muaneguba Division, to the CPDM, as well as the people's strong respect for state institutions. As Epie Damco pointed out, the Division has since its creation, remained very faithful to the CPDM party.

Dr. Ntoko, Chief Salle as well as Epie, noted that for all the years that the Division had gone without a full Minister, the people, nevertheless, remained patient and hopeful. Chief Salle added that Ngolle Ngolle's new appointment "is definitely a great stimulant to the population to rally behind the CPDM, at next year's elections."

Renewed Confidence

Ngolle Ngolle himself, expressed gratitude to President Biya, for, as he put it, renewed trust and confidence in him. He saw it as an encouragement for him to continue to work hard in serving the nation under the leadership and direction of the Head of State, adding that this, once again, rekindled in him, the value of humility in life.

On the new task awaiting him at his new post, Ngolle Ngolle said that with the help of God and collaboration of each and everyone in the Ministry, it would be easy to faithfully apply the policy that has been set by the Head of State, which, he said included duty consciousness, moral rectitude, teamwork and patriotism.
