Cingular Wireless Provides Service and Handsets to United Service Organizations Centers in Texas


(Comtex Business Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) ARLINGTON, Va., , 2006 (U.S. Newswire via COMTEX) --Cingular Wireless, the country's largest wireless provider, has partnered with the United Service Organizations (USO) to make it easier for service men and women to stay in touch with their loved ones. Cingular is donating wireless handsets and free service to USO centers in Houston (Bush and Hobby airports), and at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas, and Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas.



Each USO location will receive seven Cingular wireless phones for service members to make local and long-distance calls nationwide. In addition, the Houston USO airport centers also will receive five wireless phones. USO staff at the four centers also will receive five wireless phones for their professional use.
