Malaysia - NGC Systems uses NMS Vision VoiceXML Server

(RDSL (Asia/Africa) Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) NMS Communications, provider of communications technologies and solutions, has announced, at the Fall VON show, that Malaysian applications provider NGC Systems is using NMS's Vision VoiceXML Server to enhance its Genico 3G video SMS solution. NGC Systems' solution enhances conventional text-based SMS to attract subscribers and increase usage. The solution, incorporating the Vision VoiceXML server, adds a new layer of mobile interactivity as mobile subscribers using 2G handsets can send and receive voice-based SMS messages, and subscribers using 3G handsets will be able to send and receive both voice and video-based SMS messages. Subscribers do not need to download a client from the service provider and need only a single click to access the new application.
