Mike Potts Named President and Chief Executive Officer of AirDefense; Industry Veteran to Accelerate Strategic Growth and Recognition of AirDefense as Market Leader in Enterprise Wireless Security


ATLANTA --(Business Wire)-- Sept. 12, 2006 -- AirDefense today announced the appointment of Mike Potts as President and CEO. Potts joins AirDefense with more than 20 years of hands-on operational experience in the technology industry.

Prior to joining AirDefense, Potts served as a strategic merger and acquisition advisor to technology and venture firms. Previously, he served as CEO of Clickfox, an analytic solutions provider. From 1995 to 2003, Potts served in key leadership roles at Jacada (Nasdaq: JCDA), a software integration company. He was appointed president in 1998, a year prior to Jacada's successful initial public offering. Prior to Jacada, Potts served in several sales and management roles at MSA subsequently acquired by Dun & Bradstreet (NYSE: DNB), a financial application software company. In his last position he was responsible for half of the company's U.S. revenue as head of the company's Eastern Region.

Potts has served on the executive board of the American Israel Chamber of Commerce, the American Electronics Association (AEA) and is currently on the board of directors of Terma Labs. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1984 with a BBA in Marketing.
