He was appointed president in 1998, a year prior to Jacada's successful initial public offering. Prior to Jacada, Potts served in several sales and management roles at MSA subsequently acquired by Dun & Bradstreet (NYSE: DNB), a financial application software company. In his last position he was responsible for half of the company's U.S. revenue as head of the company's Eastern Region. Potts has served on the executive board of the American Israel Chamber of Commerce, the American Electronics Association (AEA) and is currently on the board of directors of Terma Labs.
