Sylantro Systems Names Eric Wilson Managing Director, EMEA; Seasoned Telecommunications Veteran Tapped to Oversee Escalating European Market Momentum
CAMPBELL, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Aug. 28, 2006 -- Sylantro Systems Corp., the leading developer of software solutions for hosted VoIP applications and services for business, consumer, and wireless customers, today announced that Eric Wilson has been named managing director, Sylantro Systems EMEA. Wilson, who will be based in the United Kingdom, will lead day-to-day management and operations of Sylantro's expanding EMEA business. Recent customer and partner wins in Western, Central and Eastern Europe, with additional trials in those regions as well as the Middle East, underscore the importance of establishing this organization with such senior leadership.
Wilson joins Sylantro with more than 25 years in the IT and telecommunications industries, most recently at Lucent Technologies, where he served as VP of sales and chief operations officer, Lucent Europe. In previous roles at Lucent, he served as VP of sales for mobility Europe, VP and mobility segment leader for the North America region, and held various roles in strategy, business development and M&A. In addition, Wilson serves on the board of directors of Staellum UK Limited, a start-up company focused on applications for mobile devices. His extensive international experience includes having lived and worked in eight different countries across four continents.
