WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. --(Business Wire)-- Aug. 28, 2006 -- Authentium, Inc., the leading provider of extensible security software technologies and service platforms, today announced the appointments of Carl Spataro as general counsel, Corey O'Donnell as vice president of marketing and Dino Morra as vice president of sales. Spataro will oversee all legal matters for the company, while O'Donnell and Morra will use their expertise to drive end-user adoption worldwide in support of Authentium's mission to provide businesses of all sizes best-of-breed security solutions.

At Authentium, Spataro will oversee all legal matters for the company, including corporate governance, intellectual property protection and licensing, business transactions and dispute resolution. Spataro holds more than a decade of legal experience working with emerging technology companies. He joins Authentium after serving as deputy general counsel for Collegiate Funding Services, LLC, which was sold to JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. in March 2006.


O'Donnell brings to Authentium a successful track record of industry leadership and marketing savvy. His strategic insight will mold marketing programs to successfully reach customers, partners and developers. O'Donnell's efforts will help advance Authentium's goal to allow every Web property the ability to extend their brands through custom third-party end-user offerings. O'Donnell joins Authentium after an impressive nine-year tenure with Oce North America, Inc.

Morra has the industry expertise and drive to expand Authentium's client base on a worldwide level. He will draw upon his track record of sales success in the telecommunications arena to forge new business relationships for Authentium and lead its sales team to new and lucrative markets. Morra joins Authentium after seven years at US LEC, one of the largest Competitive Local Exchange Carriers in the U.S. As regional vice president of sales, Morra managed over 300 employees in multiple cities selling the company's IP, data and voice solutions to businesses and enterprise organizations.
