About the Las Vegas Monorail

The Las Vegas Monorail is an easy and convenient way to travel the world-famous Las Vegas Strip. It connects riders to the city's world-class restaurants, shows, shops, clubs, hotels and casinos. Riders can travel the entire distance of the legendary Strip in less than 15 minutes in a safe, comfortable and clean environment. Currently, the Monorail has seven stations, located at MGM Grand, Bally's/Paris Las Vegas, Flamingo/Caesars Palace, Harrah's/Imperial Palace, Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas Hilton and the Sahara.

The Monorail also provides stress-free access to the more than 4.4 million square feet of space at one of the world's largest meeting facilities, the Las Vegas Convention Center. Sprint Central at the Las Vegas Convention Center features a one-of-a-kind free wireless tech lounge keeping business travelers connected to their offices and homes, as well as technologically superior conference and meeting facilities. Immersive themed environments, such as the Monster Energy train and General Motors' "The Drive" Auto Performance Park, round out the Monorail experience adding fun and adventure to the ride.

The privately funded Las Vegas Monorail system is the conduit between the world-renowned destinations and celebrated attractions of the Strip - without the hassles of traffic congestion and gridlock. The Monorail includes nine trains with four cars each and runs on a single rail traveling at speeds up to 50 mph. The system is electric and since its launch it has reduced traffic by more than four million automobile trips and improved air quality by reducing carbon monoxide output by up to 135 tons each year.

The Monorail operates Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Friday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 a.m. A one-day (24-hour unlimited) pass is $15. A three-day (72-hour unlimited) pass is $40. A 10-ride ticket is $35. A two-ride ticket is $9. Single-ride fare is $5.

For more information on the Las Vegas Monorail or where to purchase tickets, call 866-4-MONORAIL (866-466-6672); visit www.lvmonorail.com; or pick up a Monorail Magazine, available at all Monorail stations and station hotels.
