MICROSOFT SIGNS PACT WITH ANNA UNIVERSITY (to set up Microsoft technology labs at select colleges)(India Business Insight Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) Microsoft Corporation India has signed a memorandum of understanding with Anna University in Chennai for providing easier access to Microsoft technology and solutions to faculty and students across 235 colleges affiliated to the university. The alliance will enable students and staff to use Microsoft developer tools for academic and research within the institution and at home. Microsoft would also be assisting Anna University in setting up Microsoft technology labs at select institutions and conduct faculty development programmes on its technologies and related curriculum.
