TechSoup Stock Expands Online Donation Program With Addition of Adobe Software Titles

(Ascribe Newswire Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) SAN FRANCISCO, June 12 (AScribe Newswire) -- TechSoup (www.techsoup.org), the nonprofit technology Web site, announced today that it will expand the TechSoup Stock product donation service (www.techsoup.org/stock/adobe) for nonprofits with 20 software titles from Adobe Systems Incorporated.

With this expansion, TechSoup adds Adobe to a growing number of other key technology companies such as Microsoft, Cisco, and Symantec who have long-standing partnerships with TechSoup Stock to ensure the efficient distribution of their product donations. Through the educational resources on TechSoup, recipient organizations also gain access to targeted information on how to choose, implement, and use the products to maximize their benefit. Since its launch in February 2002, TechSoup Stock has distributed 1.7 million products to 50,000 nonprofits freeing up $400 million for other uses.

Rebecca Masisak, Vice President and General Manager of TechSoup Stock, commented:

Over the years, TechSoup Stock has built a strong following in the nonprofit sector, not in small part due to the great companies that are currently teaming with us. Having Adobe as a partner not only gives nonprofits access to software that was number one on their TechSoup Stock wish list for years, it will also help strengthen TechSoup Stock and its current partner programs.

Working with TechSoup is a great way for Adobe to extend the impact of its software donations, said Michelle Mann, Senior Group Manager, Community Relations & Corporate Affairs, Adobe. TechSoup Stock serves an audience of tens of thousands of organizations, which will help us increase the visibility of our program and reach more organizations that can benefit from Adobe's support.

Details on the Adobe Software Donation Program on TechSoup Stock:

The Adobe offerings now available through TechSoup include 15 sought-after individual software titles, including Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0 and Dreamweaver 8.0, as well as five software suite products, such as Adobe Design Bundle, and Adobe Video Bundle.

Organizations may receive up to four separate software titles or a single suite product per fiscal year. For details on the eligibility and how to order, please visit www.techsoup.org/stock/adobe.
