Health Market Science Use Salesforce.com's AppExchange TMCnet Contributing Editor Health Market Science, Inc, a manufacturer of healthcare provider data, is reportedly using salesforce.com’s AppExchange platform to customize its Salesforce SFA application.
According to a press release, HMS has also installed applications from the AppExchange directory enabling the company to share critical business data across marketing, sales, product management, operations and finance from a single source. Two applications from the AppExchange directory—Event Management and RingLead—have also been deployed to create a comprehensive and custom business solution. Created by salesforce.com, Event Management enables HMS’ marketing department to manage and track all of their events in a collaborative environment.
Created by partner RingLead, the second application prevents duplicate records by matching and updating existing Contacts and Leads from either online contact forms or imported lists.
The customized solutions have been integrated with HMS’ website to ensure automatic capturing of data which is loaded into Salesforce and distributed to the right sales representative for follow-up, whenever any prospect requests information online.
In the future, HMS plans to mobile-enable its workforce by integrating pocket PCs that allow sales to easily access Salesforce while on the road.
