Nokia announces expansion of Mobile Search

(Nordic Business Report Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)Finnish telecomms solutions provider Nokia announced on Thursday (1 June) the expansion of Mobile Search, a free software solution for the Nokia Nseries multimedia computers and other Nokia devices based on the S60 platform.



The Mobile Search application fast-tracks the user directly to the desired contact number, with just one click, the company said.

In addition to the initial countries, with Fonecta and Eniro in Finland and Sweden and Yell.com in the UK, Mobile Search would now be available in Denmark, France, Italy, Norway and Spain.


Mobile Search users would be able to access local content from Eniro, Findexa, Fonecta, Page Jaunes, TPI PaginasAmarillas.es, Seat Pagine Gialle and Yell.com.

Mobile Search is expected to be available in the standard sales packs of the Nokia N73, N93, 6630, 6680 and 6681, and in selected markets in the standard sales packs of the Nokia N70 and N71.
