Zhone Selects BroadLight's Leading GPON Technology; BroadLight Continues to Secure GPON Design Wins with the Only Shipping GPON Solution Available Today
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- May 30, 2006 -- After announcing 25 new GPON design wins, BroadLight today announced that Zhone Technologies has incorporated its GPON end-to-end (E2E) solution into its product Line. BroadLight's E2E GPON, which was the industry's first available GPON solution, is rapidly gaining market share with leading access vendors looking for a time-to-market advantage with cost savings, performance improvements and 100 percent ITU-T interoperability.
