Pacific Design Announces PlayStation® Portable (PSP�) Case
Sony PSP Protection Case by Pacific Design Now Available at Retailers Including Circuit City
Austin - May 23, 2006 - Pacific Design today announced the retail availability of its PSP case for use with the popular Sony hand-held gaming device. Pacific Design, known for its award-winning attention to detail and usability, will ship the PSP case to U.S. retailers including Circuit City beginning May 30, 2006. Additionally, Canadian retailer Sony Style Store will carry the PSP Case.
Online retailers will include BagsForMe, Dell, eBags, LuggagePoint, MobilePlanet, and ProVantage; pre-orders are being taken today at www.bagsforme.com, www.ebags.com, www.mobileplanet.com, and www.luggagepoint.com.
Retailing for $29.95, Pacific Design's innovative model offers the first fully-functional case that allows the UMD (media/game) to be changed while the PSP remains in the case via a magnetic "trap door". Furthermore, the PSP case is available in eye-catching, color combinations with a racing stripe design that include black with a burnt red stripe, black with a bright blue stripe, gray with an orange stripe, and gray with a yellow stripe.
The cases are constructed of Italian-sourced polyurethane (PU) material, providing a soft, leather-feel without sacrificing durability. The interior also features a scratch-resistant polyester velvet-feel material for additional product protection.
