Sprint for Cancer at Atlantic Station Raises More Than $60,000 for Local Charities; Fourth Annual Charity Race Partners Local Technology Company with Local Cancer Foundation, Charity Organization

ATLANTA --(Business Wire)-- May 3, 2006 -- The Radiant Charity Corporation, a non-profit charity organization supported by Alpharetta, GA based Radiant Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: RADS), announced today that the fourth annual Sprint for Cancer at Atlantic Station charity road race raised more than $60,000 for the Georgia Cancer Foundation and North Fulton Community Charities, Inc.

Donation checks were presented to representatives from the charity organizations in ceremonies held at Radiant's Alpharetta headquarters this week.

The Sprint for Cancer at Atlantic Station is a 5K and 10K road race planned entirely by Radiant Systems' employees who volunteer their time to be part of the event and put on with the assistance of volunteers and sponsors. More than 300 Atlanta-based Radiant employees participated in the event either as runners, phantom runners or volunteers.

"I am very proud of the effort our employees put into planning and executing this year's Sprint for Cancer," said John Heyman, chief executive officer of Radiant. "Service to our local communities is in our blood at Radiant and no event shows this more than the Sprint for Cancer."

"We are pleased to be in our fourth year of partnering with Radiant in a charity road race" said Brenda Horne, executive director of the Georgia Cancer Foundation. "The money raised will help support our important work with cancer patients and survivors in Georgia."

The race was held April 30 at Atlanta's popular Atlantic Station district and attracted more than 550 runners. Prior to 2005, Radiant Systems and the charities partnered together on the Radiant Charity Run. In four years of sponsoring charity road races the Radiant Charity Corporation has raised more than $170,000 for charitable causes.
