Alibaba.com to Set Foot in Business Process Integration
(SinoCast Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)BEIJING, Apr 19, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) --A number of companies from China become more dependent on e-commerce, and that stimulated e-commerce service providers to be more ambitious in the sector.
The world's biggest B2B website Alibaba.com has got ready to set foot in business process integration. Moreover, some international companies both from home and abroad, such as Intel, IBM, UFIDA and Kingdee, set to expand together with the Chinese e-commerce giant, according to sources familiar with the matter.
The traditional B2B business mode helped to make revenues from advertisement and services, but now increasingly more business opportunities have been emerging.
At the moment, Alibaba.com has gained more than 12 million member companies, and it offers 990,000 business information per day.
The business process integration indicates the website is providing all-round service for a company, including procurement, logistics and distribution, sales and service.
