Revolutionary New Email Protocol Replaces SMTP, Eliminates SPAM; Useful Technology's allAware Secure Will Be First to Provide 100% Protection from Spam, Phishing, False Positives and More

PLANTATION, Fla. --(Business Wire)-- April 18, 2006 -- Useful Technology Corporation, an emerging next generation technology company, is putting the finishing touches on allAware Secure(TM), the world's most secure electronic communications platform. Based on an entirely new network protocol invented by Useful Technology, allAware Secure(TM) provides secure, reliable, tamper-proof receipt and delivery of messages and files, and is not susceptible to spam, spoofing, phishing and other attacks inherent in the current SMTP-based system -- a system that is no longer capable of serving its purpose in a world of con-artists, virus-authors and unscrupulous marketers.

"Most email security solutions really aren't solutions, they're merely patchwork," advises Jason Milgram, Useful Technology's founder and chief architect. "Most provide between 95% and 98% protection. So if you're a business that receives 10 million inbound emails per month of which 85% are spam, between 170,000 and 425,000 illegitimate emails still make it into the corporate mail system." What's more, he points out, all current solutions suffer another drawback; they can block legitimate communications. This scenario is known as false positives. Though the percentage of false positives is low, the cost of not receiving a legitimate communication can be significant. The first beta version of allAware(TM) was used during the Wesley Clark Presidential campaign to communicate securely and coordinate campaign activities. The company is now looking for people to sign up for its latest beta version at http://www.useful-technology.com.

allAware Secure(TM) is due for release in late summer and is sure to be welcomed by organizations dependent on email. Other paradigm shifting ideas are also in the works at Useful Technology's Plantation headquarters.

Useful Technology Corporation was founded in 2003 with the goal of creating new paths and opportunities for information exchange.
