Haiguanshan had opened two capital accounts at Caodong office respectively on June 12 and 27 of 2003, and had also deposited a total of CNY 27 million in two months later in the year, which, however, was found gone in May 2005 when the hotel checked its accounts. Caodong office, therefore, was brought to court along with its parent Jianqiao Securities and the latter's biggest shareholder Shaanxi International Trust & Investment Corp., Ltd. Opened in July 2002, Jianqiao has been the largest securities firm in northwestern China region, but it was put into business restrictions by regulator on April 1 this year because of the weak practice in related capital embezzlement problems.
