Electric disability scooters to be accepted on Shinkansen+(Japan Economic Newswire Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)TOKYO, April 2_(Kyodo) _ Central Japan Railway Co. and West Japan Railway Co. are considering accepting electric disability scooters in their new Shinkansen bullet train compartments to be introduced next spring, informed sources said Sunday. The train operators will enlarge compartments and restrooms for the use of physically handicapped people so they will be able to accept such scooters, the sources said.
