[April 01, 2006] TV reporter arrested over alleged gang rape in Fukuoka+ Tweet (Japan Economic Newswire Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)FUKUOKA, April 2_(Kyodo) _ Police arrested a TV reporter and a company employee in Fukuoka Prefecture on Sunday on suspicion of gang-raping a high school student last November, local police said. The suspects are identified as Hiroyuki Kitamura, 29, a reporter at RKB Mainichi Broadcasting Corp., and Toshio Tashima, 39. According to the investigations, the two men are suspected of raping a 17-year-old girl at a hotel in the city of Onojo. They threatened her by saying that they would "bury her on a mountain" if she screamed for help, the police said.
