Toshiaki Ogasawara, 74, will remain publisher and chairman of the Japan Times, a major English-language newspaper in Japan, the company added. Yukiko Ogasawara, 44, who holds a master's degree from the California College of Arts, has been a special adviser to the newspaper publisher and serves as a director of Nifco Inc.
