Volume Public Relations Adds Talent to Support Continued Growth & Maintain its Commitment to Servicing Clients with Senior, Seasoned Experts
DENVER --(Business Wire)-- March 27, 2006 -- Volume Public Relations announced two additions to its growing staff, with Mark Plumb and Melody Callaway joining as Senior Account Executives. Differing from the traditional agency model of client service, VolumePR has a firm commitment to serving its clients solely through senior, seasoned experts, ensuring every interaction with VolumePR by clients, analysts or the media is met with PR expertise.
Plumb will be responsible for managing Digitech Systems, Inc., a Colorado-based electronic document and content management organization. Plumb will head up a comprehensive campaign for Digitech Systems with the ultimate goal of redefining the delivery model for enterprise content management and its accessibility to businesses of any size. Plumb will also manage the PR efforts for San Diego-based PacketVideo, a premier supplier of multimedia software for mobile networks. Partnering with O'Berry Cavanaugh, a leading integrated marketing and advertising agency, Plumb will lead the team's media relations efforts to increase awareness of the new platforms PacketVideo is developing for the deployment of wireless multimedia.
Callaway will be responsible for managing SRC, LLC, based in Orange, Calif., a leading provider of business intelligence software focused on unlocking the "actionable" intelligence hidden within business intelligence content. Callaway will head up a comprehensive campaign based upon the success the software company has experienced since its founding, adding to its impressive customer base currently including industry leaders the likes of Cingular Wireless, Comcast Corp. and Experian. Callaway will also support Colorado-based netFactor Corporation, a provider of Internet lead generation products and search engine marketing services for the business-to-business market.
A seasoned high-tech marketer, Plumb has worked for major players in the telecommunications industry, including SBC Communications and AT&T. Most recently, he served in sales and marketing leadership roles at Sky Solutions, a direct marketing company with headquarters in Denver. Plumb is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with an MBA and the University of Tulsa with a BA in Marketing.
Prior to joining VolumePR, Callway led public relations efforts for several publicly and privately held high-tech companies in the Denver and Silicon Valley regions, including Polycom, Inc., Sun Microsystems, Xpedion Design Systems, Open Scan Technologies and Advanced Circuits. An experienced public relations professional, Callaway began her career at Ogilvy Public Relations, a global marketing communications firm. Additionally, Callaway worked for Denver-based VisiTech PR, a public relations agency focused on the high-tech business-to-business market, working with clients on strategic public relations campaigns. Callaway is a graduate of the Auburn University with a BA in Public Relations.
