Travel bits: Study abroad programs accepting applications

Fun, education, travel, adventure -- Travel for Teens, a company based in Wayne, has numerous opportunities available for this summer.
Among the destinations: Italy, Spain, France, Greece, Ireland, Eastern Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Scotland, Portugal, London, Belgium and Amsterdam. Travel for Teens offers single destination trips as well as trips stopping in multiple spots. Prices begin at $2485, for a single trip to $12,500 for a whole summer's worth of travel. High school and college students who want to study in China during summer 2006, learning about the language and culture while earning college credits, have until April 15 to apply to the American Institute For Foreign Study (AIFS).
Opportunities include a Nanjing-based program for high school students, and another in Peking for college students.
AIFS also has college and high school study abroad programs available in numerous countries throughout the globe.
I n t e r e s t e d s t u d e n t s should contact AIFS immediately, as deadlines for applying for some of these programs may be as early as March 15.
