Bush labels N. Korea, Iran as 'axis of evil' again+

(Japan Economic Newswire Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)WASHINGTON, March 10_(Kyodo) _ U.S. President George W. Bush revised his description of Iran and North Korea on Friday as "an axis of evil" that pose the same security threats with their lack of transparency and pursuit of weapons of mass destruction.

Bush made the remarks when asked whether Iran, North Korea or China pose the most serious security threat at the National Newspaper Association Government Affairs Conference.

Bush said China is a "strategic partner when it comes trade," and stressed that the al-Qaida terrorist network presents the biggest short-term danger to U.S. security.
