Brunei: Proton Savvy draws the crowds

(Borneo Bulletin Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)Large crowds gathered at the Manggis Hua Ho Mall on Friday for the launching of the new Proton Savvy.

On hand to mark the official launching of the event organised by Worldwide Motor Sdn Bhd was the guest of honour, Malaysian High Commissioner Datuk Ali B. Abdullah.

The strong lines and sleek curves of the Lotus-inspired design and engineering Proton Savvy didn't fail to grab the attention of the public.

With a body strength of 17,000N/MM, the Proton Savvy is as tough as a car twice its size and with its Lotus engineering, the Savvy offers the best ride and handling in its class. Futhermore with its precise and progressive steering response, the driver is assured of absolute control and stability.



The Proton Savvy can get from 0-100km/h in 12.6 seconds and its 1.2L engine offers an exhilarating 74HP output and 105NM torque.

Costing about $19,100 on the road, only 14 units arrived in the first shipment.



Meanwhile, there was also a lucky draw, where 900 prizes such as jackets, caps, sun shades, pens and even cash were given away to public members who attended the launching.
