Vault Inc. Launches Vault Europe; The Renowned Career Information Media Company Opens Shop in London
NEW YORK --(Business Wire)-- Feb. 21, 2006 -- Career information media pioneer Vault Inc. (www.vault.com) has launched a European operation. The European arm of the company, based in London, features the "insider" company information and expert careers and workplace content that Vault is famous for, but with a European edge.
Vault launched Vault Europe (http://europe.vault.com) to provide a more targeted site for jobseekers interested in information on careers at Europe-based companies or with European operations of multinational firms. As does its American counterpart, Vault Europe gives prospective employees the inside track, revealing what they really want to know about company culture, the interview process, salaries and job prospects at hundreds of major corporations.
"Our launch of a European site offering insider career information is a natural extension for Vault," says Samer Hamadeh, Vault's CEO and co-founder. "We're filling a need that our own users had been increasingly asking us for." Adds Thomas Nutt, Vault Europe General Manager and a seven-year Vault veteran from the U.S., "There is no other resource that so clearly presents what employers have to offer jobseekers."
Since its initial launch in May of 2005, traffic to the Vault Europe website has reached nearly 150,000 unique visitors per month. Vault has more than 50,000 members in Europe from virtually every European nation including the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Greece and Portugal. Vault Europe has also signed up advertisers such as JPMorgan (JPM), UBS (UBS) and Credit Suisse First Boston (CSR).
Vault Europe also offers its signature insider company information to European university students through the celebrated Vault Online Career Library, which gives students free access to Vault's company profiles, as well as information on countless career options, "Day-in-the-Life" features on industry leaders, and downloadable versions of over 80 of Vault's award-winning guidebooks. The Vault Online Career Library, which already has 45 European college and business school subscribers (in addition to over 600 American universities), gives students the upper hand in an extremely competitive job market.
Simon Tankard, Head of Careers Service at Oxford University's Said Business School says, "Vault's online career resources - in particular the industry guides and company profiles - have been very well-received by our students. The unique insights and intelligence provided by Vault are of the utmost importance with our students' job search preparation, given the extremely competitive nature of their chosen employment markets."
