Feb 10 (Interfax) - Acer, one of the world's leading computer hardware producers, increased PC supplies to Russia 330% year- on-year in the fourth quarter of 2005. Over 126,000 PCs were supplied to the Russian market in the fourth quarter, a computer market analyst told Interfax. Sales of notebooks exceeded 124,000, 480% more than in the fourth quarter of 2004. Acer had a leading share of the notebook market in Russia in the fourth quarter of 2005 with 28.2%, compared with 9.6% a year earlier. Acer held 7.4% of the PC market, up from 2.2% in the fourth quarter of 2004. Acer Inc. Produces PCs and notebooks, servers, data storage systems, monitors and other computer equipment.
