Software maker Adobe Systems has launched a public beta of its Adobe Flex 2.0 and Adobe Flash Player 8.5, an application development solution for delivering internet applications.

The Flex 2.0 product line provides developers with an extendible application framework, programming model, standards-based data integration and an Eclipse-based integrated development environment (IDE) for application development and UI design. With a component library, data integration and support for standard back-end server infrastructures, Flex 2.0 enables developers to build different types of internet applications.



The Flex 2.0 product line is expected to be commercially available in the first half of calendar year 2006.
