Loquendo, developer of innovative speech technologies, has partnered with platform research and developer H-Care to provide a new and innovative version of its Human Digital Assistant platform application.

The partnership between Loquedo and H-Care is a definite innovation for the future of customer interaction and satisfaction. Loquedo's TTS engine will work with H-Care’s Human Digital Assistant to not only save on operations costs for companies but also offer better online customer support and interaction.

Currently Loquendo offers 39 different male and female voices in 17 languages. Its partnership with H-Care, which researches 3D animation and studies the interaction between users and systems, will allow users of the new Digital Assistant 2.0 to interact with customers through quality speech synthesis.

Umberto Basso, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing, noted that: "The use of interfaces that appear human will continue to find applications in the various interactive channels such as the web, IPTV, and video communication through the latest generation of mobile telephones.  Loquendo's technology was chosen to guarantee the best speech synthesis for all of the principle languages."

The Human Digital Assistant version 2.0 is being previewed at the SpeechTEK West conference in San Francisco, California from January 30 to February 1.
