Trinsic, Inc. Announces Results of Special Meeting of Stockholders


TAMPA, Fla. --(Business Wire)-- Sept. 23, 2005 -- Trinsic, Inc. (NASDAQ/SC: TRINC), a leading provider of enhanced wireline and broadband telecommunications services, announced today that its stockholders, at a special meeting of its stockholders held today, approved its previously announced conversion of its Series H Preferred Stock into common stock (the "Conversion") and amendment of its charter to effect a reverse stock split of Trinsic's common stock with the ratio determined by Trinsic's board of directors. The Conversion is scheduled to occur on September 30, 2005, and the reverse stock split is scheduled to take effect on September 26, 2005.



The board of directors of Trinsic has determined that the reverse stock split ratio referred to in the proceeding paragraph will be 10 for 1, and that the record date for the reverse stock split be as of the close of business on September 23, 2005, which will be the effective time of the reverse stock split. Trinsic will begin trading on a post reverse split basis on September 26, 2005, under the symbol TRNCD.
