Digital Glu Announces Self_Hosting Packages For Small Business Web Sites

TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA, SEPTEMBER 14 2005: Digital Glu Inc. of Toronto is delighted to announce a range of Small Business Packages based on their Glaucus product line.

The packages consist of the Glaucus servers pre-configured with a web site customized to meet each small business owner’s specific requirements including text, pictures and a quotation form.

The small business package includes the following unique features and benefits:

1. Their customers have the convenience of submitting files (even very large files) directly on the web site without leaving their desk. There is no need to copy files to removable storage devices and bring them in, no need to have an account set up for them on an FTP server and no need to cope with limitations on the size of email attachments.

2. The appropriate person at the business is automatically notified of all requests for quotations with all the information needed since the form is customized for that purpose.

3. The uploaded files are accessible on all the computers on the businesses network as soon as the customers upload them. There is no need to copy files, mount removable storage, or even detach email attachments.

4. Since the Web Server is running on the business’s local network, there is no need to pay monthly Web hosting fees.

The package also includes an FTP site and unlimited email accounts. The small business owner can specify a size limit for email messages of up to 100 megabytes and the limit can be adjusted for different users, if desired.

Digital Glu has set up a demo web site for print shops at http://office.digitalglu.net. Each site will be customized with any text, pictures and form that the small business owner specifies.

The affordable price for the entire package includes all necessary hardware and software, customization of the standard template, and installation.

According to Gordon Wilkes, VP of Systems, “At last an out-of-the-box web site is affordable for any small business”.
