NDS Announces Production of MHP Terrestrial Set Top Boxes with Philips


LONDON & AMSTERDAM, Netherlands --(Business Wire)-- Sept. 9, 2005 -- NDS (NASDAQ/ Euronext Brussels: NNDS)

Highlights:

-- NDS MediaHighway MHP middleware integrated in to Philips' two new terrestrial set-top boxes for the European market.

-- NDS will issue a specific version of their well-known development tool, MHDK, targeting these set-top boxes (STB).

NDS the leading provider of technology solutions for digital pay-TV, and strongly committed to the growing MHP market in Europe today announces the production launch of new digital terrestrial receivers with Royal Philips Electronics.

These receivers, referenced DTR4610/28 and DTR 2610/28, run NDS MediaHighway java-based middleware, fully compliant to the MHP 1.0.3 interactive TV standard.

NDS will also issue, a specific version of its MHP development tool, MediaHighway Development Kit (MHDK), for these Set Top Boxes.
