WEST FELICIANA PARISH IN LOUISIANA SUCCESSFULLY STREAMLINES EMERGENCY SERVICES WITH INTERACT

InterAct Public Safety Systems, a supplier of public safety technology systems used by local, state, national and international government agencies, today announced that West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana, has successfully deployed InterActs 9-1-1 public safety communications system for its 9-1-1 center. Servicing West Felicianas EMS, fire and police departments since February, the enhanced 9-1-1 system automatically presents 9-1-1 dispatchers with the callers name and address, as well as a map to the callers location. Delivering this key information to dispatchers within seconds enables emergency personnel quickly respond to callers critical needs.

InterActs system is so simple to use, our dispatchers were able to put it to work within days of installation, said Captain Vanessa Jones, director of 9-1-1 Emergency Services, West Feliciana. The fact that all of our data and reports can be updated in real time is a tremendous time saver and allows first responders to focus even further where theyre needed most: in the field. Also, all emergency personnels schedules are coordinated within the system, enabling the best coverage for all situations.

We are pleased that InterActs system is successfully serving the citizens of West Feliciana, said Andrew Flip Filipowski, Executive Chairman and CEO of InterAct Public Safety Systems. Having the latest technology can often mean the difference between life and death in many situations. InterAct empowers emergency personnel to respond in the fastest, most efficient manner possible.

Interfacing seamlessly with E9-1-1 and CAD applications, InterActs GIS and mapping application meets the needs of the public safety industry. Its flexible CAD system helps to ensure the accuracy and optimize the efficiency of public safety departments dispatching operations.
