VoIP, Inc. Joins Stealth Communications' Voice Peering Fabric

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. --(Business Wire)-- Oct. 10, 2005 -- Directly Links to the Power of the VoiceOne(TM) Network and Jumpstarts VPF Members' Ability to Offer Critical Services like v911

VoIP, Inc. (OTCBB:VOII), a global provider of advanced communications services utilizing Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) as its core technology, today announced it has interconnected its VoiceOne(TM) network with Stealth Communications' Voice Peering Fabric(TM) (VPF), the world's largest peering network that allows members to exchange VoIP traffic without relying on the traditional Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). In addition, all Stealth VPF customers now have immediate access to VoiceOne's v911(TM) service, as well as all VoiceOne's other broadband voice services including Termination, Local DID Origination (access to 5500+ Rate Centers), 800, CNAM, SMS and more.

VoIP, Inc.'s CTO Shawn Lewis explained, "Now that Stealth's private VPF network is peered directly into our private VoiceOne network, the integrity and call quality of the all-private network remains intact."

"Just as importantly, all members of Stealth's network now have immediate access to VoiceOne's v911 service nationwide, as well as all of our advanced broadband services. This joining of forces further enhances and broadens the ability for service providers to offer critical services to their customers," he added.

Stealth Communications' President and CEO Shrihari Pandit commented, "We are pleased to have VoIP, Inc. join the Voice Peering Fabric. Our members now have the ability to exchange traffic directly with the VoiceOne network and access the suite of services they offer, including VoiceOne's v911 service for E911 capability."

Stealth's VPF is a distributed Ethernet network that functions as an exchange or meet-point for VoIP traffic by allowing enterprises and service providers to establish peer-to-peer connections in a secure, high quality-of-service environment. Service providers are joining the VPF to take advantage of Stealth's ENUM Registry of almost 10 million phone numbers that can connect to each other without ever touching the PSTN and to exchange VoIP traffic directly with other VPF members, allowing VoIP calls to remain within the IP domain.
