Lombardi Software Announces European Office to Meet Growing Market Demands; Lombardi Software, Ltd. First Step In Global Expansion

AUSTIN, Texas --(Business Wire)-- Nov. 15, 2005 -- Lombardi Software(R), the leader in pure play Business Process Management (BPM) software for Global 2000 companies, today announced that the company has established a subsidiary, Lombardi Software Ltd., to meet the rapidly growing demand for its TeamWorks BPM platform outside of North America. Lombardi's European headquarters will be based in London. Greg Pope, Vice President of European Operations, will manage the business and report to Olivier Gachot, Lombardi's Executive Vice-President of Worldwide Sales. Mr. Pope previously managed Lombardi's North American Sales Operations.

The expansion to Europe is a further demonstration of Lombardi Software's strategy to increase its share of the $2 billion worldwide BPM market. As in North America, Lombardi will focus its business efforts on Global 2000 organizations seeking a BPM platform that can meet the multi-process, multi-function, multi-system requirements of a large enterprise.

"The market for enterprise BPM continues to grow at an unprecedented rate and our expansion into Europe was simply driven by market demand," said Rod Favaron, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lombardi Software. "With an established base of European customers and more to be added this quarter, we felt the timing was perfect to build out the organization and increase our penetration into the European market. And Greg Pope's track record of building a repeatable, highly successful sales model in North America for Lombardi as well as his previous international success makes him the perfect choice to spearhead our sales and partner operations in Europe."

Greg Pope has been responsible for worldwide sales, service, support and field operations of both hardware and software companies in North America, Europe, and Asia. As Vice-President of Europe, Middle East and Africa for Stratus, Greg led the $150 million business operation headquartered in France. Greg also served as Vice President of Europe, Middle East and Africa for Open Market in the UK, building it from the ground up to $14 million in revenue. Greg later served as Open Market's Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations, where he grew the business to $100 million in revenue.
