Database of Intellectual Property Lawsuits Now Available on the Internet from The Translation Station

REDONDO BEACH, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Nov. 4, 2005 -- Is your company or your client being sued? Who else is named in the lawsuit? If you're the Plaintiff, who else has sued the Defendant? Who are the lawyers on the other side?

The Translation Station, one of the nation's oldest and largest language companies specializing in the legal field, has opened its database of intellectual property lawsuits filed in all district courts nationwide to everyone with internet access.

"This was a service we provided only to our clients for quite a number of years," said Jennifer Gilbert, The Translation Station's Director of Litigation Support Services. "Since we had so many requests from other attorneys who heard about it, we decided to make it available to everyone."

Visitors to www.WhosSuingWhom.com can, at no cost, search patent, copyright, and trademark infringement lawsuits by name/court/date going back almost ten years. Docket reports and supporting documents can be purchased from The Translation Station for as little as $25 each.

"It's surprising how many companies don't know they've been named in a lawsuit until they see it on our website," said Gilbert.

For those companies and law firms that are in foreign language legal matters, The Translation Station offers a variety of language and document search services. The company translates between English and 150 foreign languages and is able to retrieve documents from all major European and Asian countries.

In addition, The Translation Station assists U.S. attorneys and their clients in filing patent applications and other government forms in Europe and Asia.

The Translation Station (an InterLingua Company) is a Southern California-based language company specializing in the translation and retrieval of legal documents. The Translation Station has worked with 44 of the 100 largest intellectual property firms in the U.S., and its translations have been used by The White House, International Trade Representatives when presenting to the World Trade Organization, and even by foreign patent attorneys filing in the U.S.
