Additionally, Crystal Reports is integrated into the D.C. criminal justice community's Justice Information System (JUSTIS) portal. Crystal Reports allows PSA case managers to generate reports through PRISM and track defendants' progress through supervision, treatment and social service programs; review results of mandatory drug tests; and determine if defendants appear for court dates. For example, case managers can follow an individual's participation in substance abuse counseling by running reports on attendance to drug treatment sessions. With PSA approval, agencies may obtain reports generated by Crystal Reports through JUSTIS. For example, in determining whether to file charges against an arrestee, a prosecutor can generate a criminal history report from PRISM to support that office's decision-making process.
