Kassas, who has been an integral contributor to Cedar Point's five year rise from start-up to industry leader in the voice switching space, will be among the honored guests at a gala event June 6 at the Center of New Hampshire Radisson Hotel in Manchester. Nominees also are eligible for the New England regional and National Entrepreneur of the Year competitions. An 18-year veteran of cable and telecommunications, Kassas founded Cedar Point in September 2000 to meet the cable industry's need for a simple, cost- effective telephony switch.
