TFN's Paul Crane Speaks with Former NFL Coach Jerry Glanville; Jerry Glanville Has Returned to Coaching after 12 Years in Broadcasting With Fox, HBO, CBS, and The Football Network

BATON ROUGE, La. --(Business Wire)-- May 5, 2005 -- TFN, The Football Network, Inc., (OTC:TFNK) - a next generation multi-media company, announces Jerry Glanville former NFL coach and TFN on air talent speaks with TFN's Paul Crane about his return to coach football. Recently, Glanville was hired as University of Hawaii's Defensive Coordinator.

Glanville commented to Crane about his return to coaching football, "It's what I enjoy in life. It's what I'm meant to do. I can't believe I haven't done it for more than ten years. But the first day out there it was like I never missed a day."

Former NFL head coach Jerry Glanville has returned to coaching after 12 years in broadcasting with Fox, HBO, CBS, and The Football Network. Glanville is the defensive coordinator at the University of Hawaii where he is reunited with his former offensive coordinator with the Falcons, Hawaii head coach June Jones. Glanville spent eight years as a head coach with the Houston Oilers and Atlanta Falcons after 11 seasons as an NFL assistant. This is a return to the college ranks for Glanville, who was an assistant coach at both Georgia Tech and Western Kentucky before rising to the NFL.

Turning around defenses is nothing new to Glanville. Several of his NFL teams set defensive records, some of which still stand today. When Glanville was defensive coordinator of the Falcons, before becoming head coach in Houston or Atlanta, he took the Falcons' defense from last in the NFL to first in a single season. That kind of a chore is facing him again now. Last year Hawaii ranked #116 out of 117 Division 1-A teams in total defense and will open the 2005 season against Heisman Trophy winner Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush and the defending national champion USC Trojans.
