[March 29, 2005] OSIsoft Names Bernard Morneau Vice President of Sales Tweet SAN LEANDRO, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- March 29, 2005 -- OSIsoft, Inc., the global leader in performance management software, today announced the appointment of Bernard Morneau as vice president of worldwide sales. Morneau will lead the sales effort as OSIsoft continues to expand historical business and grow in emerging markets and regions. "Bernard brings a broad knowledge set and has excelled in positions across engineering, sales, and corporate management. He has continuously demonstrated the value of real-time data in improving operational performance from the plant floor through the executive-level," said Mark Hughes, president of OSIsoft. Morneau, who joined OSIsoft in May 2001, formerly served as general manager of OSIsoft Canada as well as sales executive for Eastern Canada. Prior to joining OSIsoft, Morneau had previously been involved with the sales and distribution of OSIsoft products in Canada since 1994. A graduate from the University of Ottawa in Chemical Engineering in 1978, Morneau occupied diverse positions in the metallurgical, chemical and oil and gas industries in Eastern Canada. In 1991, he co-founded Cogexel, which then became an OSIsoft distributorship in Canada. In his new position, Morneau will relocate to OSIsoft's headquarters in Northern California. In addition to the appointment of Morneau, OSIsoft has also appointed Carol Jackson, Marc Gallant, Teresa Dixon, Mike Ellis, John O'Shea and Osvaldo Basur as Enterprise Sales Executives. They will focus on OSIsoft's Enterprise Licensing Program starting in 2005.
