AeA High-Tech 'Micro Cap' Financial Conference Sells Out; Investors are Encouraged to Register TodaySANTA CLARA, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- March 1, 2005 -- AeA, the nation's largest high-tech trade association, today announced that the 7th annual AeA Micro Cap Financial Conference, an investment event for technology companies under $200 million in annual sales or market cap, sold out its presenting company presenting slots in only eight weeks for the second consecutive year. The AeA Micro Cap Financial Conference is held each spring in Monterey, California. Its unique, neutral format allows executives from 120 technology companies and investors to pair off for intimate small group discussions around technologies, strategic missions, trend analyses and potential investment. This year's conference will be held May 15-17, 2005, at the Monterey Plaza Hotel. "Driving the interest is a combination of economic factors, including the recovering market, the need for visibility, the desire to explore M&A partnerships, and a perception that high-tech stocks continue to be undervalued," said William T. Archey, President and CEO of AeA. The heightened interest in micro cap companies over the past two years is also contributing to an early sellout of the May conference. Visibility is more important than ever to this market segment and investors are eager to hear their stories. "This presentation format is ideally suited for the direct, one-on-one discussions that need to take place now to establish relationships between investors and high-tech companies," said Archey. Last year, 400 investors attended the AeA Micro Cap Conference, double over the previous year. "Based on early investor interest, we expect to exceed that number," said Archey. Companies representing every sector and region of the high-technology industry will present their business plans at the AeA Micro Cap Conference this year.
