High Tech Conference Sizzles at New Montgomery County Conference Center

ROCKVILLE, Md. --(Business Wire)-- June 22, 2005 -- TeraTech:

-- TeraTech-Hosted Conference Takes Full Advantage of the Technology of the New Montgomery County Conference Center, Enables This Rockville-Based Software Development Company to Host This Growing Event in Montgomery County

Maryland-based technology firm TeraTech announced today that its week-long technology conference, CFUNITED-05, is breaking the technology barrier at the new Montgomery County conference center.

"The CFUNITED conference exposes the Conference Center's technological potential," said Jerry Early, Director of Sales and Marketing for the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center. "We are using more technology than ever before, and using more technology simultaneously."

CFUNITED-05 offers international and national software development specialists and technology managers five days of training from the pre-eminent gurus in the ColdFusion technical world. The 3-day conference takes place June 29 - July 1, 2005 and is preceded by two days of pre-conference classes.

"We are thrilled with the new conference center in Montgomery County," said Michael Smith, President of TeraTech. "When we decided last summer to double the size of the conference, to 1000+ attendees, we outgrew the local hotels. We visited the new facility, which was then under construction, and knew it would enable us to keep the conference close to home."

"Our conference requires high tech A/V and internet access in all the sessions, plus the wireless internet cafe that needs to support hundreds of users. The conference center is able to handle all of that technology, no problem."

The conference, in conjunction with the 4th of July holiday weekend, is a big draw for people from out of town and from as far away as Portugal, Rumania, and even Australia. Many attendees are bringing their families and are staying over for the 4th of July holiday.

Macromedia leads the list of 20 sponsors as the Platinum sponsor of the event. Microsoft, New Atlanta, and TeraTech are Gold Sponsors.
