Target America is a database marketing and research group headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia that provides services for fundraising, one-to-one marketing managers and organizations that market to high net worth individuals. McGee said the change will allow him to focus his efforts on the emerging financial service and for-profit divisions of Target America. Johnson will focus on helping nonprofits raise more money by better targeting their best prospects. Johnson joined the Target America team in 2001 as vice president of sales. Previously she worked with nonprofits for 20 years in both the research and software arenas. She served as a consultant for Thomson Financial Wealth Identification, presented the Raiser's Edge for Blackbaud, which became the leading fundraising program for Windows, and then moved to PeopleSoft as regional sales manager for the company's higher education division.
