Former First Data Executive Joins Air2Web as Chief Financial Officer


ATLANTA --(Business Wire)-- Aug. 23, 2005 -- Air2Web, the leading global provider of wireless applications and content gateway services, announced today the addition of Jeff Cagle to its management team as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Cagle will be responsible for finance and accounting, human resources, legal, administration, and leading the company's effort to raise additional capital. Cagle brings to his position an extensive background in corporate finance, strategic planning, management, and information technology.

Prior to joining Air2Web, Cagle served as Chief Financial Officer for USIEnergy, where he was instrumental in the recent successful sale of the company. While there, he was responsible for overseeing accounting, investor relations, technology infrastructure, legal and human resources. Before USIEnergy, Cagle worked with Lumenor, Inc., an Atlanta software developer of Internet-native billing and customer-care applications serving the utility industry. At Lumenor, Cagle led the development of the company's business model, was instrumental in securing venture financing, and worked closely with the founder to establish a skilled and experienced management team.

From 1988 to 1998, Cagle held several positions with First Data Corporation (FDC), a Fortune 500 Service Company and a leader in information services, payment, and transaction processing. During his career at FDC, Cagle was active at the corporate level with mergers/acquisitions, new product development, joint ventures and strategic planning. Most recently, Cagle served as Vice President of Finance for Nationwide Credit, a unit of FDC, then the nation's largest call center and receivables management company.
