VoicePort and DSI Sign Joint Marketing Agreement

DSI signs agreement to co-market VoicePort’s CircPort, an advanced speech recognition application, to its clients.

Pittsford, NY. August 11, 2005. VoicePort, LLC and Data Sciences Incorporated (DSI) announced a joint marketing agreement today. The agreement will give DSI exclusive rights to market VoicePort’s speech-enabled solution for newspaper circulation departments, CircPort, to its clients.

CircPort provides a unique and powerful approach using speech recognition technology to enhance customer service for newspaper circulation departments, with the convenience of real time, personalized voice information delivery. The available functions include reporting a delivery problem, placing a vacation hold, checking account status, new subscriptions and making payments. CircPort directly connects to circulation databases to make changes in real time, and frees agents up for higher level tasks. It also allows newspapers to be available to their customers 24/7, eliminating hold times, and increasing customer satisfaction.

DSI’s leading circulation software management system has been designed to support the ever changing demands placed on today’s Circulation Directors. Their robust software provides the ability to track promotions and campaigns, append demographics to subscribers and non subscribers and use highly flexible reporting tools to retain and increase subscribers.

DSI chose to co-market the CircPort product because of VoicePort’s leadership position bringing voice service to the newspaper industry. The CircPort application utilizes the best speech technology available, in VoicePort’s partners VoiceGenie & ScanSoft. Speech is the most natural form of communication, and it will give DSI’s clients a competitive advantage over those with outdated touchtone IVRs.

“Our partnership with VoicePort highly complements DSI’s suite of business software, and we are excited to be working with a recognized leader in the speech recognition industry”, said Mark Ganslaw, President and CEO of Data Sciences, Inc.

“We are very excited about the opportunity to co-market the CircPort solution with DSI,” said Chris Mann, President of VoicePort. “Their leading circulation databases are the result of years of experience in the industry, and we look forward to working with both DSI and their customers to enhance the customer experience through the benefits of speech.”
